I ♥ Thane: The baddest frog in all the galaxy

Whether you've played Mass effect 2 or not. You know of this man. If you've not played the game, you'll recognize him from the box art. If you have played the game, you'll know that Thane is the baddest frog in all of the galaxy...EVER! Thane can kill you real quick. This is not up for debate. This is not a subject we can roundtable. It's a fact. Thane can kill you, like... REAL quick. He can kill you before you even have a chance to think about this point. Thane was one of the few characters in Mass effect 2 who I felt I could connect with, because he was open about his race, his homeland, his life and all of that shit which most of us would Dyson like fuck rather than sweep under a rug - where as the other characters seemed guarded and distant. If you don't agree with this, that's fine. Tell me how the hell you connected with that plank Jacob in comparison, aside from sleeping with him and I'll strike through this whole paragraph. So much about Than...

Gaming journal: L.A Noire #4 - Git da f**k out!

I tried really hard to like this game. Honestly, I did. But L.A Noire is my lost cause. I can't stand the game. I think I may even hate it. It's rather odd, because there was actually a point when I rather liked this game. But after being bored to near death with some of the most monotonous gameplay I've not experienced since Jebus knows when; I began to tire of this game and just want shot of it. I YouTubed the ending a week ago, because I just couldn't take playing the game any longer to complete it and view it after a hard games' graft. I have never forced myself to play a game I can't stand and then decided to just throw in the towel so close to the end, but there's a first time for everything. And Rockstar and Team Bondi have certainly popped my cherry with this one.  L.A Noire spun itself into such a tired and medicore mess of formulaic gameplay, that I just had no desire to finish the game, and I stopped caring. The problem (one of many) I had with...

Resident Evil: Asexual Revelations

Put Leon and Chris in a zombie infested village in the middle of nowhere, and they'll dive out of the window of two story buildings, drive jeeps off of cliffs, dive in the way of bullets and be your perfect action hero - exuding such an excess of testosterone than they could manifest it into C4 putty in their hands. But put them in a room with a female character and they'll be completely dead pan, and show as much interest as a 2-piece chicken in a box. Resident Evil was never one to play on love relationships between characters in the same way that Final Fantasy did / does, and it never will. It's not that kind of game, and it's not something anybody expects from a Resi game. But why the embargo on these men showing a lack of interest in the women in their lives and continually putting B.O.W's before hoes? Let's talk Chris Redfield. From the very start when Chris, Jill, Barry and Albert all ran into that blasted mansion back in July of 1998 you got a vibe in re...
