Leona (acts likes she) loves Final Fantasy XIII

Leona Lewis took the words out of my damn mouth. I never thought "My hands" would have been a perfect fit for Final Fantasy XIII neither, and I still don't. If "My hands" was an attack, it'd be the most damaging attack ever. I'm talking every single flash particle effect and an explosion that hits with 999999 damage when the dust clears.

I cannot believe Square Enix chose "My hands" to serve as Final Fantasy XIII's theme song, when there are a couple of really good songs on Leona Lewis' Echo album, which would have made much, much better themes. What would have been perfect would have been either the Japanese version of the song in the Western release, or having had Crystal Kay sing both the Japanese and English theme's. But the dirty deed is done. Ain't shit we can do about it now but moan and scowl how I'm doing.

Notice how Leona has the Xbox 360 controller in her hand as well. Microsoft be signing them cheques with a quick hand to make sure people know this game is releasing for its system. If past experiences are anything to go by, this game will advertise on TV like it is not even out for the PlayStation 3. The only people who will pick this game up are those who have played an FF game before anyway, so it probably won't make a world of difference. It will interesting to see the first week sales figures, and which version sells the most. I'm gonna say the PS3. FF loving gamers who own both a 360 and a PS3 (of which there are many) will end up picking the PS3 version, purely because of the convenience of the game being on one disc. But ya never know...

    The comparison wars are already starting. A lot of websites are saying the PS3 version looks better. I don't know, at the end of the day, unless you're playing the two version side by side, starting at the screen, it shouldn't matter.

    This shit always happens when a game releases for multiple systems. And it's gonna be at fever pitch because it's a Final Fantasy game. As long as the 360 version does not look shit and the comparisons aren't glaring, it won't be a problem for me. It makes no difference to me because I only have a 360 anyway!

    I know! This is the kinda shit you'd expect Nintendo to pull. I couldn't help but shake my head and shiver when I heard the "Amazing. I just wanted to like...run around the fields all day" *lol*

    You're right about one thing. People will know the game is on the 360. All the commercials I've seen on TV for the game are just for the 360, lol. Microsoft has got it like that.

    I have it for the 360 and it's awesome. So what it has 3 discs? It's cooler that way! AND I looked at the ratings and 360 kicked lame ass PS3's ass on opening day. So ha! AND I LOOOVE Leona Lewis. A LOT! My Hands is an amazing song....but not for Final Fantasy...sorry darling. Whateva.

    I have XIII for the 360 too. The game being on multiple discs didn't really bother me. The game being a bit crap is what bothered me the most :(

Nintendo and the Switch 2 pricing shenanigans

I am one of the few people in existence who does not own a Nintendo Switch. Y’all. Even my mum owns a Nintendo Switch. It’s crazy, because I have been with Nintendo through thick and thin and owned near-enough all of their systems. Nintendo has been a constant presence in my life. But the Wii and the Wii U left a sour taste in my mouth which made me apprehensive about buying a Switch. And because I had Mario Kart 8 and Breath of the Wild on Wii U, I had no real incentive to buy a Switch early on. And then there was the Joy-Con drift issue which was a thing from the very beginning. But by the time the Switch had blossomed into this great system with a fantastic library of games, I figured ‘I’ll just get the rumoured Switch Pro when it drops’. Of course I knew this probably wouldn’t be the name, but I was adamant that a revised version of the Switch would release at some point and hopefully Nintendo woulda fixed them damn Joy-Cons. So, originally I had written part of this as a '7 days with Final Fantasy VII Remake' piece, because I had thoughts that I felt compelled to type and share with all 2 people who know of this wasteland of blog. But I was so close to the end and had heard 'whispers' about the ending to this game, so figured I should just complete the damn thing so I can talk about all the things. And now here I am.
